Two Harvard students showed how they could use Meta's Ray-Ban smart glasses to get personal information about strangers, which has raised major privacy concerns

• AnhPhu Nguyen and Caine Ardayfio have come up with an innovative use for Meta’s smart glasses by pairing them with their own software.

• This clever system, called I-XRAY, can identify people and pull up personal information using facial recognition, reverse image search, and large language models.

• When they tried out I-XRAY at Harvard, they were able to accurately identify strangers and access their personal details.

• This raises some privacy concerns, especially since Meta recently announced that it might use any images and videos shared with Meta AI for training.
