Without further ado, let’s Begin:

1. Create a Free Perplexity Account

Navigate to Perplexity AI and create a free account.

2. Craft Relevant Prompts

• Write a well-structured prompt to get accurate information. This step is crucial as the quality of the prompt significantly impacts the response provided by Perplexity. Use the following example as a reference:

3. Use Focus Modes to Find Unique Content

If you have specific research requirements, Focus Modes can help refine your search.

Focus Modes are particularly useful for narrowing your research to specific mediums. For example, if you want to analyze YouTube content, simply select Focus Mode and craft an accurate prompt. Your tailored research will be ready in seconds.

To Use Focus Mode:

1. Click on “Focus”

   

2. Select the platform you want to research. For instance, if researching on social media, choose “Social”.

   

3. Write your prompt, specifying the platform. The Prompt:

Social Media Research Prompt

4. We have Selected “Social” and Our Research is completed. All the information is gathered from Social Platforms primarily “Reddit”.

   

All results will be sourced from your selected platform (e.g., Reddit). The source will be indicated at the top of the results.

4. Create Space & Collection of Threads (Prompts)

While doing Research, we have to deal with a lot of different types of Prompts. And while doing multiple research it’s really confusing and tedious to find each Prompt from the list and continue the Research.

To address this issue, Perplexity offers a feature called “Space,” which allows you to categorize prompts for better organization.

To categorize prompts, follow these steps:

1. Go to “Spaces”

   

2. Click on “Create a Space”

   

3. Provide a name and description for the Space.

   

4. Click on the newly created Space

   

5. Write a Prompt to Add to the Space

   

6. The Prompt has been added to the newly created space.

   

If we want to add from Prompt Library or previously used Prompts to the newly created Space.

1. Navigate to the “Library.”

   

2. Click on the “Add Prompt” icon (+).

   

3. Type the Prompts, and The prompt will be saved in the Library.

   

4. Click “Add to Space” to add previously used prompts from Threads.

   

5. Select the desired Space to categorize your prompt.

   

6. All the Prompts have been Categorized on different Spaces.

   

AI Research Assistant

With all the above four steps completed, your Perplexity AI is Ready to Research automatically. The Automated Content Research is Completed. Now the AI has an idea about your intent and requirements. Over time the AI will understand more of your intent and perform better as you add more threads to it.

Now, from all the Space Collections, head over to Space, select your space, and run the prompt. Your Results will be ready in seconds.
