How to Create a Video with ChatGPT

The ChatGPT plugin makes creating videos 10 times easier. Today, we will use CapCut to generate a video.

Here’s how to use it in 3 simple steps:

Step 1: Install CapCut plugin

You'll need to head over to ChatGPT (make sure you have ChatGPT Plus) and set up the CapCut plugin.

Don't forget to confirm that the plugin is enabled.

Step 2: Enter Your Prompt

Once the plugin is activated, all you need to do is type in the prompt of the video you wish to create. Remember, the more information you provide, the more refined your results will be.

The prompt we used is: “Generate a 30-second video of a cat having some snacks. Keep the aspect 16:9, and make it as realistic as possible.”

Then, a link is displayed. Click on the link.

Step 3: Output

Upon receiving your prompt, Capcut automatically creates a preliminary script and selects relevant images or video footage. While the initial output may be somewhat rough around the edges, you have the option to request edits or modifications to nearly any aspect of it.

There you have it! Remember, it's not yet flawless at generating videos.

However, it does tackle the most challenging aspect of video creation, transitioning you from an empty canvas to a fully-fledged concept complete with stock footage.
